RETURNS

ONLINE ORDERS
If the item isn’t quite right, Good as Gold Store offers an exchange or return within 14 days of receipt. Unfortunately after this period Good as Gold Store won’t offer a refund or exchange. As a buyer, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item and the item must be return with a trackable service as Good as Gold Store will not accept responsibility for items lost or damage during the return process. We advise contacting us as soon as possible should you as a buyer wish to return the item, during busy times it can take up to 48 hours to respond to emails so please take this in to consideration if the 14 days returns policy is close to expiring, as we will be unable to extend it.

HOW TO COMPLETE A RETURN
Please email contact@goodasgoldstore.com prior to shipping the item(s,) to obtain a returns code and the returns address, stating the reason for return and if an exchange or refund is required. Unauthorised returns may not be accepted. 

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A RETURN
Please be aware the following items are non-returnable under any circumstances: Vintage items and Sale items cannot be refunded. Due to the nature of secondhand clothing, all sales of vintage items are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded, however this does’t affect your statutory rights as a consumer. 

Good as Gold Store only only accept return or exchange on DR. Martens and Deadstock products. DEADSTOCK items are items  that were never bought in the first place. It's not second hand, but it's not new either. “Deadstock is 'new' old stock from another era. 

These Items must be returned unworn, unwashed and in a re-saleable condition.

Any original packaging, labels and the do not remove tags must all be attached. Hygiene stickers, if applicable in place. Without these, Good as Gold Store will not be able to offer an exchange or refund.

REFUNDS
  • The original shipping costs will not be refunded. 

  • Paypal refunds will have non refundable Paypal fees deducted.

  • If you have received free shipping, returned items requiring a refund not an exchanged will have the shipping costs deducted from the amount refunded. Please see the shipping costs for more details.

  • Once the item has been returned, Good as Gold Store will notify you via email and if the return has been accepted, you will be refunded via your original payment method. This may take between 5-7 working days to clear.

EXCHANGES
As a customer, you will be responsible for the shipping cost of the item you originally bought and wish to return to swap. However Good as Gold Store will send out the replacement free of charge to UK customers only, Rest of the World Returns will be responsible for all returns and additional shipping costs on both Refunds and Exchanges.

FAULTY ITEMS
If you believe your item has arrived faulty please contact us via email within 48hrs of receipt, explaining the issues at contact@goodasgoldstore.com. Returns of faulty items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when delivered to the customer. Please note, all the items are checked thoroughly before being sent. If the item is deemed faulty, Good as Gold store will do its best to offer a replacement or repair, should their consider the item to be subject to fair wear and tear will will not accept this as a fault.

If a replacement is not be available, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to the value of the item at the time of purchase.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable):
If as a customer you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund please contact us at contact@goodasgoldstore.com.

The below applies to items bought in-store only.

Due to the nature of secondhand clothing, all sales made in Store are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded, however this does’t affect your statutory rights as a consumer. This also applies for Dr. Martens and Deadstock goods bought in store.

If a product purchased in store is faulty, a proof of purchase must be provided and the items must be returned within 7 days of purchase, after this period Good as Gold Store will be unable to accept your return.

Please note the following items are non-returnable, VINTAGE SECOND HAND GOODS.
